Scenic has started its first full European river cruise programme in two years with an eight-day sailing on the Rhine.
The line operated “a small number of sailings” on the Douro and Rhine rivers in the Bordeaux region last summer.
However, this year it will offer more than 300 voyages across Europe on the Rhine, Main, Danube, Moselle, Douro, and the French rivers.
Scenic’s programme includes two new culinary cruises – the 11-day Tastes of Southern France and the 11-day Flavours of Bordeaux itineraries.
Prices for the round-trip Tastes of Southern France voyage departing from Lyon on May 5, 2022, start from £3,195.
The itinerary also includes two Scenic Enrich events – a private interactive workshop at the Valrhona Cité du Chocolate in Tain-l’Hermitage and a classical concert at the Palais des Papes in Avignon.
The line is currently offering savings of up to £2,400 per couple across all departures this year. Door-to-door chauffer transfers are also available on any booking made before May 16, 2022.
