Windstar Cruises has launched itineraries for its newest ship.
Star Seeker’s maiden voyage will be a transatlantic crossing departing from Malaga, Spain on December 28, 2025, with a stop in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands for New Year’s Eve.
The ship will finish its first voyage in Miami on January 13, 2026, where its christening ceremony will be held.
Star Seeker’s inaugural season will sail routes in the Caribbean, Alaska and Japan.

Its first sailing in the Caribbean will include stops in the Dominican Republic and British Virgin Islands.
Crossing the Panama Canal towards Alaska, there are several options including a 49-day trip from San Juan to Juneau, 25-day voyage from Costa Rica to Juneau and a 17-day journey Mexico to Juneau.
Star Seeker’s Alaska itineraries will run from May to August 2026, with two main offerings including a seven or eight-day Scenic Alaska Cruise, or longer 10, 11 or 12-day Alaskan Splendors tour.
These itineraries will also include a signature expedition programme with options for guests to take a small rib boat or kayak directly from the ship closer to the scenery.
In early September it will move to Japan for its Grand Japan itineraries on four dates throughout October.
Windstar is also developing additional itineraries in Southeast Asia for Star Seeker.
Christopher Prelog, Windstar president, said: “I’m really excited we’ll be able to sail the new Star Seeker in the Caribbean before the ship continues on to its final destinations of Alaska and Japan.
“Star Seeker will likely not return to the Caribbean again, so it’s a wonderful but fleeting chance for our Caribbean destination fans to experience the ship.
“We have some celebrations planned to bring Star Seeker together with other Windstar ships in the Caribbean, like a sunset sailing parade past the pitons in St. Lucia with Wind Spirit and Star Pride. It will be a warm welcome to the fleet for our new ship.”
