Eurofins Covid Testing Services has launched a quick-turnaround PCR testing service at its drive-through sites in Hounslow, near Heathrow, and Livingston, near Edinburgh.
When passengers arriving at the drive-through centre, a test kit will be handed through the window of the vehicle so they can carry out the test themselves.
The Eurofins team will watch to ensure passengers are performing the test correctly.
The sample is passed to the onsite labs for testing, with Eurofins delivering results in less than eight hours.
The tests cost £89.90 and can be used for fit to fly and day-two Covid-19 PCR testing requirements.
