The Advantage Travel Partnership has unveiled a turn-of-year campaign for use by its agent members with the tagline: ‘Holidays are sooo 2022’.
The consortium believes ongoing changes to travel restrictions offer members the change attract new customers, with marketing assets focusing on the benefits of booking through an agent.
Advantage said the campaign included on- and offline activity “with a big focus on aspirational content to help members engage customers and inspire them to book”.
Collateral includes print and digital customer magazines, the group’s largest ever point-of-sale pack, social media support, dedicated cruise content and pre-written email and blog content.
A number of ‘How To Guides’ and marketing tips have been created to help members build their own campaigns.
David Forder, head of marketing, said: “We know how important this January and February booking period is to our members.
“With continued uncertainty around new variants and travel, the need to book with a trusted travel agent is clear, and we have pulled out all the stops to ensure all bases are covered for our leisure members, to help them generate enquiries and all-important bookings for 2022 and beyond.”
He added: “We know holiday pricing will remain fluid for the time being, and customers may be more spontaneous with their booking decisions, so have worked closely with our supplier partners to focus more on engaging content than offers, and we’re hugely thankful to them for their substantial support to aid this campaign.”
