ITC has appointed Allison (Ally) Cockburn to the position of partnerships marketing manager in a new role, following the recent restructure across its brands.
She joined earlier this week from Gold Medal Travel Group, where she was senior partnerships manager.
Her new role sees her working with suppliers and partners on marketing activity, and developing relationships with hoteliers, airlines and tourist boards.
The management restructure announced in July brings together its luxury brands – Inspiring Travel, Private Clients and Spectate – under Lisa Smith in the newly created role of managing director, ITC.
Smith said: “We are delighted to have Ally join our team. Not only does she have vast amounts of experience in engaging closely and collaboratively with our key supply partners, Ally is also really well versed in how to work effectively across our marketing and product teams, with a perfect blend of commerciality and creativity, ensuring excellent outcomes for both ITC and our supplier partners.
“Ally is already well known by a large number of our supplier partners, so we’re delighted she can hit the ground running bringing her energy, creativity and passion to produce brilliant results as we continue to grow our business and deliver first-class products, services and experiences for all our clients.”
Cockburn added: “I’ve been working in the travel industry for over 30 years, including Going Places, My Travel, Gold Medal and I’m incredibly pleased to be joining the innovative team at ITC.
“I love working on partnerships with clients and contacts around the world to help bring their resort and destination to life within marketing campaigns.”
ITC is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a host of new agent developments, special events and fam trips for more than 50 agents.
An Around the World compilation of 50 Experiences for 50 Years has also been created, which showcases some of the destinations and experiences available through the ITC brands, which also include responsible tourism specialist Rainbow and tailor-made tours operator Regent.
