In his new role, Daniels will be responsible for the UK and Ireland team with a remit to “expand market presence, elevate brand visibility and forge stronger relationships with the travel trade”, the line said.
He will report into Olivier Narcy, chief EMEA sales and global customer relations officer, and lead Vladislav Saveliev, sales manager for the Midlands and south, and Danny Giles, sales manager for the north, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.
International sales director Stephen Winter, who opened the UK and Irish markets for Ponant, will concentrate on growing emerging markets in Europe and building partnerships across the continent, the line added.
“I’m incredibly proud to be joining Ponant during this exciting period of growth and look forward to working with our superb teams and partners to grow the UK and Irish markets,” said Daniels.
“The company’s vision and growth strategy offers our UK industry experts and their guests amazing opportunities. We will share more details of our plans in due course.”
Nancy added: “I am particularly enthusiastic to welcome Anthony to the team, showcasing Ponant’s commitment to this strategic market and the desire to expand our unique offerings to travellers and accelerate momentum in the UK and Ireland.”
