APT has created a toolkit of materials to help agents to maximise opportunities to sell the operator’s Luxury APT and Essential Travelmarvel Tours.
The toolkit, launched as part of the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas)’ Touring & Adventure Month in April covers tours in Australia and The Kimberley, New Zealand, Asia, Canada and Alaska.
It comprises guides to 2022 escorted tours and answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about guided holidays, to assist agents in selling this travel style – including breaking down what clients should pack, what the tour director does and what meals are included.
APT has also created videos and social media tiles for agents to use, and an agent training webinar giving greater insights into the 2022 programme will be landing on 23 April.

Jess Shelton-Agar, APT’s head of sales, said: “We’re thrilled to be part of the first Atas Touring & Adventure Month, and this event is such a great initiative to further raise awareness of this incredible travel style and sales opportunity for the trade.
“At a time when there is much uncertainty about travel, our commitment to total flexibility, our Covid Refund Guarantee and Insurance Cover, plus low deposits, will help to mitigate clients’ risk.
“And, because APT will be vetting all elements of the holiday and doing due diligence with all of our partner hotels, restaurants and attractions, our tours offer total reassurance to agents’ customers.
APT is participating in Atas’ weekly webinar series on April 23, when more product updates will be given.
