Atas creates agent toolkit ahead of touring and adventure month

The Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas) has revealed details of its new Agent Toolkit ahead of its inaugural Touring & Adventure Month in April.

The toolkit is free for agent members of Atas and is designed to support them to promote touring and adventure products to their customers.

It includes a digital assets library featuring a range of email banners, website banners and social media assets which can be downloaded from touringandadventure.com.

The Agent Toolkit also includes digital backgrounds for use for client events or video appointments. Dedicated visual assets for Atas’s supplier members will be added.

Atas account director Claire Brighton said: “The toolkit is free for agents to use as long as they are signed up as Atas members. Joining is free, quick and easy.

“Assets in the toolkit will be continually developed throughout the year and we will use our agent advisory panel to ensure what we develop is exactly what agents need.

“Content has been written with health and safety measures in mind, and designed to give customers confidence to take a touring or adventure trip as holidays resume.”

Touring and Adventure Month

The first Touring and Adventure Month aims to promote the sector among agents and consumers, highlighting the wide range of touring and adventure holidays available.

It includes two networking sessions, on April 20 and 21, offering one-to-one appointments for Atas members to meet travel agents.

Meanwhile, weekly 45-minute webinars will be hosted, giving Atas tour operator members the chance to provide agents with short product updates and details of their latest offers. Each will feature four operators.

Brighton added: “These online sessions will be an ideal way for agents to catch up with key tour operator contacts as the travel industry emerges from restrictions.”

New training modules and chance to win prizes

Atas has launched 12 new destination training modules as part of its Race Around the World series in time for Touring & Adventure Month.

Modules focus on key touring and adventure destinations, and have been designed specifically for touring and adventure holidays in those hotspots.

They have been added to Atas’s existing library of touring and adventure training modules, which already offer an introduction to touring and adventure.

Agents who complete each module will earn points towards a special Touring & Adventure Month competition where they can win prizes courtesy of supplier members. The top prize is a UK tour for two courtesy of Cosmos. Other prizes include vouchers and more. Agents can also earn points by attending webinars and networking events during Touring & Adventure Month.
