Blue Bay targets 45 homeworkers by end of 2022

Blue Bay Travel’s homeworking brand aims to reach a total of 45 homeworkers by the end of this year – up from its current level of 32.

The Personal Travel Consultants in Partnership with Blue Bay Travel was formed on July 26, 2021, and has served more than 5,000 passengers in its first year.

It hosted an anniversary celebration at the Blue Bay Travel offices in Stoke-on-Trent in September, after most homeworkers had returned from their summer holidays.

Chief executive Alistair Rowland and sales manager Abbie Heaton made presentations, which were followed by an awards event and dinner, sponsored by MSC Cruises.

The PTCs have access to a 250-strong range of suppliers, including Blue Bay Travel’s own tour operator arm, which specialises in exclusive packages to the Caribbean, Mexico, Far East, Indian Ocean and more.

Heaton thanked the “hard work” of the Personal Travel Consultants over the past 12 months.

“It is their passion and commitment to customer service that have helped us rise to the position we enjoy today,” she said.

“I’d like to make an ongoing commitment to our consultants to ensure we stay one step ahead of innovation and offer not only the best commission rates in the industry but also coaching, support and friendship.”
