He said: “Blue Bay Travel is about to enter its biggest growth phase after its most successful year in 2023.”
Rowland said more EU destinations would be added to the “Subscriber Exclusive portfolio”, with the business also planning to enter the cruise market “in a big way”.
He added: “Hiring a cruise product manager and commercial manager is going to be crucial to support our ambitious plans to grow by 70% in 2024, offering even more products and services to our loyal clients.”
The accolades distributed during this month’s ceremony, awarded for dedication throughout the year, included ‘Blue Bay Star’, ‘Business Change’ and ‘Bright Beginnings’.
As well as a certificate and trophy, each winner was awarded a seven-night stay. Destinations included Antigua, Mauritius and Egypt.
Blue Bay said it would donate £1,000 to charity partner Pebbles Legacy, an animal rescue group. The contribution represents a doubling of the year’s fundraising total.
