Blue Diamond Resorts appoints trade manager for UK, Ireland and Germany

Blue Diamond Resorts has appointed a trade manager for the UK, Irish and German markets.

Paulina Grzelka will be the first port of call for all travel agent enquiries to maintain awareness of the Blue Diamond’s property portfolio.

She replaces previous UK and Ireland business development manager Louisa Smith, who joined in September last year but has since left the business, in a broader role which also has responsibility for the German market.

She will also be in charge of organising fam trips, research groups, workshops and sales missions.

Blue Diamond Resorts senior director Todd Kirlik said: “We are delighted to welcome Paulina to the team. Blue Diamond is currently on a path of exciting expansion and so we have important updates to bring to the trade.

“Paulina’s skills and experience will be invaluable in helping us to do this, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to supporting the UK, Irish and German trade with her at the helm.”

Grzelka, who started her career at Tui, previously worked as business development manager for Playa Hotels & Resorts covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. She has worked in the industry for more than 10 years.

She said: “I am excited to be bring my brand experience to the Blue Diamond Resorts family. Whilst continuing the great work of the team to date, I hope to be able to grow the brand’s reach and increase agent understanding of our diverse products even further.

“I’m looking forward to getting out on the road to meet all of our fabulous agent friends, and of course bring lots more into the fold, promoting all things Royalton and Planet Hollywood within the context of our fab rewards programme.”
