Classic Collection adds 15 properties to Italy brochure

Classic Collection has added 15 new properties to its Italy brochure.

The collection features more than 180 properties, including 58 boutique hotels and new accommodation options in Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily, Sorrento, Rome and Florence.

The brochure also includes 12 tour itineraries, such as a six-day gastronomic tour of Tuscany, as twin and multi-centre holidays are proving “more popular than ever”, the operator said.

Classic Collection is offering flight-free holiday options with train travel available via London and Paris to Milan, Florence and Venice.

A seven-night stay at the Hotel Miramare in Sorrento on a B&B basis costs from £1,265 based on two people sharing.

Guests can spend seven-nights at Mangia’s Brucoli Resort in Sicily on a full board basis from £3,322, or seven-nights at Vivosa Apulia Resort in Puglia on an all-inclusive bases from £1,667.

E-brochures are downloadable on the operator’s website and printed copies can be ordered through Tradegate.

Alex Gavalda, director of internal sales, product and commercial, said: “Our new brochure covers all the perennial single centre favourites, but also features emerging destinations, twin and multi-centre holidays, and touring and rail options.

“As the American market has come back strongly this summer, making availability in Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast a challenge, we’ve expanded our offering there to include some of the UK market’s most popular hotels.

“Agents looking to secure bookings for their clients should consider alternatives in Sicily, Sardinia and Puglia, where we’ve added new product and where our flexible approach to flying – any airport, any airline, any duration – gives us an advantage over other operators.

“Prior to the launch of the new brochure, we’ve invested in several pre-season fam trips for our internal sales team and have held intensive supplier training sessions at our head office on the south coast.

“With a brochure as comprehensive as this one, it’s good to have the necessary expertise behind the scenes to assist agents in closing the sale.”
