Classic Package Holidays to launch new agent rewards for peaks

Classic Collection Holidays’ agent-only brand, Classic Package Holidays, has unveiled its “most far-reaching peaks activity ever” with new rewards and a competition for agents.

Using the slogan ‘It’s all about you’, the marketing push will launch on December 28 and run until February 28, 2024.

“From January 1, we’re introducing a new rewards scheme, and during the peak booking period there will be chances win personal holidays.

“Super low deposits from £59 per person and competitive pricing mean our trade partners will have no trouble finding some great offers to meet the expected high levels of customer demand, particularly in Turkiye where our commercial partnership with SunExpress continues to deliver great sales results.”

From January 1, the operator’s reward scheme for agents will move away from Love2Shop vouchers to a pre-loadable debit card, which has been successfully rolled out for sibling brand Classic Collection.

Agents who already have a Classic Collection Black Card can use their existing card to claim rewards for both brands.

The Classic Black Card was announced in December 2022 and launched in January 2023 for agents selling the upmarket Classic Collection brand. It provides agents with incentives for making bookings, with cash rewards loaded onto each agent’s black card where it will be available immediately.

The amount an agent can earn increases from an across-the-board £10 per booking to up to a maximum of £100 per booking.

Ten agents will also win one of 10 personal holidays for two, to some of the operator’s most popular destinations.

Winners will be picked from all those who have made a Classic Package Holidays booking during the peaks campaign, with the more bookings made increasing the chances of winning.

Joint social media and email campaigns will run with key partners, and social media assets will available to all agents.

There will be bi-weekly training seminars, a printed guide to Classic Package Holidays and launching Classic Package Holidays TV.

Morris-Green said: “This is our most far-reaching peaks activity ever for Classic Package Holidays.

“With more than 4,000 hotels, flights from over 30 UK airports with more than 15 airlines, we’re all about giving our agent partners and their customers the freedom, flexibility and choice they want at the most competitive prices.”

Morris-Green told a Travel Weekly webcast: “Due to the demand on the black card for Classic Collection, we’re now introducing it from January for Classic Package [Holidays]…with up to £100 incentives on the black card tax-free cash to spend anywhere they want.

“Some agents will only book Classic Collection, some agents only book Classic Package and there is a bit of crossover – but it’s not massive.”

He said research about the agents who have been using their black cards showed that supermarket shopping seemed to be their preferred way of spending their rewards.
