Clia to hold trade-friendly training ahead of Cruise Week

Clia will hold virtual trade-friendly training sessions ahead of the association’s annual Cruise Week, which will take place from September 18-24.

The 45-minute webinars are free of charge for Clia members.

On September 11, Debbee Dale and Leon Hand from Celebrity Cruises will run a session titled ‘Supercharging your cruise sales’, and the next day Uniworld’s Angela Sloan, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ Aishling McLoughlin and Silversea’s Connie Georgiou will hold a session called ‘Focus on specialist cruising’.

Andy Harmer, managing director Clia UK & Ireland, said: “We want everyone to be talking about cruise holidays during Clia Cruise Week so these training sessions are the ideal way to hone insight and know-how.

“We’re encouraging all agents who want to drive cruise enquiries and bookings to make the most of the training we have on offer, as well as taking advantage of the resources and initiatives running across Cruise Week to leave them feeling suitably inspired.”
