Club Med upgrades agent portal to ‘simplify booking process’

Club Med has updated its travel agent portal to include a simplified booking process and navigation section.

The upgraded design of the portal, called the CMTA platform, is part of the operator’s “upscale move to improve the overall view of travel agents’ business”, said Club Med said, which promises a “50% increase in application performance”.

A simplified booking process with quick price estimations has been added, as well as a cross-comparison feature to allow agents to compare resorts and room categories. The platform is also mobile friendly.

Additionally, Club Med will unveil a new consumer website for UK customers at the end of June to provide a “better user experience and minimalist user path for guests looking to book a holiday, as well as those with an existing booking”.

“Our travel agent partners are key to our success at Club Med,” said Nicolas Bresch (pictured), managing director for the UK, Ireland and Nordics.

“We value their support in driving growth for our resorts and destinations around the globe. The enhanced functionality of the new CMTA platform aims to build upon our relationship with travel agents by delivering a more advanced system and smoother user experience.”
