Club Med has announced plans to open its first Exclusive Collection mountain resort in Val d’Isère.
The new five-star property will open on December 18, 2022 following a major renovation and expansion of the brand’s existing hotel in the region.
Club Med Val d’Isère will offer over 200 rooms and suites, including 91 deluxe rooms with balconies, 95 spacious deluxe rooms for up to five guests with separate areas for those travelling as a family, and 30 suites.
Food and beverage options will include fine-dining restaurant Les Millésimes, where guests can enjoy five-course taster menus and wine pairings. The main restaurant will offer a wide variety of local and international cuisines, while the main terrace will host apres-ski cocktail hours, fondue stations and festive markets.
Club Med Val d’Isère will also feature a state-of-the-art wellness and fitness centre, which will include a By Heberson yoga school, Les Mills Virtual fitness programme, indoor swimming pool, cardio and gym training rooms and a spa with 10 treatment rooms.
For guests visiting during winter, the resort will offer ski-in/ski-out facilities, private and group ESF lessons, ski touring, paragliding and ice skating.
The property will also be open during the summer, where guests can enjoy activities like hiking in the Vanoise National Park and yoga.

Last December, Club Med confirmed plans to open its first Exclusive Collection resort in the US. The property at Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, Utah, is scheduled to welcome its first guests in December 2024.
