Cox & Kings said most of its European tours can be accessed via rail alone, a change it has introduced based on “client feedback and shifting travel trends”. It has also added more rail travel on its China itineraries.
Also new for the 2024-25 worldwide brochure is the eight-day Neapolitan Treasures: Caserta, Sorrento & Pompeii itinerary.
The tour begins in Naples and includes visits to Pompeii, Sorrento, Caserta, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius and Castellammare di Stabia.
Prices lead in at £1,795 and customers can add a three-night extension in Sorrento for £550.
The new 10-day Across Albania & Kosovo begins in Tirana and travels to Apollonia, Butrint, Berat, Prizren, Pristina and Kruja. Prices start at £1,495.
The final new tour is the 14-day Peru & Galapagos Odyssey. Customers will spend two nights in Lima before flying to Cuzco and taking a train to Machu Picchu. They will then fly to Quito for two days before flying to the Galapagos for a three-night stay. Prices start at £6,795.
All prices include four-star accommodation, rail travel and flights where applicable, transfers, some meals and access to a tour manager.
The company said: “For the first time with Cox & Kings, travellers can ditch flights and see Europe by rail.
“Most European trips can now depart straight from the UK and be taken by train. This was introduced on the back of client feedback and shifting travel trends.”
