Deloitte appoints Tim Robinson to travel and aviation practice

Deloitte has appointed Tim Robinson as an audit director in its travel and aviation practice, working with privately or private equity-owned businesses.

He who joins from RSM where he qualified as a chartered accountant and specialised in expanding the firm’s travel and tourism sector.

Alistair Pritchard, lead partner for travel and aviation at Deloitte, said: “Today’s announcement is further demonstration of Deloitte’s investment and commitment to the travel and aviation sector, and reflects the firm’s practice of dedicated experts providing market-leading quality services across the industry.

Deloitte is set to hire more than 6,000 new people into the firm’s UK Audit & Assurance practice over the next five years, including at least 1,200 new auditors and assurance professionals every year between now and 2027.
