Disneyland Paris debuts Alice & the Queen of Hearts show

Disneyland Paris has launched Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland, described as “a modern take” on the classic Walt Disney animated film Alice in Wonderland.

The musical show takes place in the newly unveiled Theater of the Stars  at Walt Disney Studios Park.

Running until September 29, the musical performances also feature aerial acrobatics and BMX stunts.

More than 180 performers and technical staff have worked to bring the show to life.

The stage features a skate park with nine ramps to accommodate 10 BMX riders embodying the Queen of Hearts’ cards.

The stage area also includes seven trampolines and two “tramp-walls”.

Performances take place several times a day in the resort’s largest open-air theatre, which has a seating capacity of 2,800 spectators.

A two-night stay at Disneyland Paris costs from £370 per person, including accommodation at Disney Hotel Santa Fe with access to the Disney Parks for three days and direct return flights with easyJet, departing September 18.

The price is based on two adults and two children (aged three to nine) sharing a Cars Standard Room at Disney Hotel Santa Fe.
