Ajman Tourism has appointed Emotive Travel Marketing (ETM) as its representative office for the UK and Ireland.
The emirate is part of the United Arab Emirates and offers beaches plus a growing range of hotels and facilities, including a 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.
It is a half-hour drive from Dubai’s international airport.
Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, director general of Ajman Tourism, said: “ETM brings strong experience through their vast knowledge of tourism landmarks and closely working with government entities.
“We are confident that the ETM team will add success to the destination through their strong relationships with travel partners in the UK and Ireland.”
Mary Murphy, ETM’s account director for Ajman, will advise tour operators and travel agents about the destination’s attractions.
She is also organising virtual roadshows to highlight Ajman’s appeal to tourists.
Chris Lee, managing director of ETM, said: “We are thrilled to be marketing Ajman to both trade and consumers across the UK and Ireland, and are keen to approach as many agents and operators as possible in the upcoming months.
“The whole team are in place and have already started working on some considerable plans that will be announced to the trade very soon.”
