Gold Medal unveils Singapore and Abu Dhabi campaigns

Trade-only tour operator Gold Medal has launched trade promotional campaigns with the tourist boards of Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

The Singapore & Beyond Campaign runs to December 31 and gives agents the chance to win a seven-night family holiday for four to the city.

The prize includes return flights, luxury hotel accommodation and experiences such as a guided tour, tickets to an evening event, sightseeing and shopping.

To win, agents must complete the Singapore training module and make a package booking to Singapore that includes four or more nights and send the reference to win@goldmedal.co.uk. If the booking includes a Singapore day tour, agents will receive an extra entry.

Supporting sales material includes a mini-brochure with offers for 2022 departures, in-store merchandise and social content.

From mid-November, in partnership with Abu Dhabi Tourism, Gold Medal is giving agents the chance to win one of four Fortnum & Mason hampers worth £150 each by completing a quiz about the destination.

A winner will be announced each week, with the hampers delivered in time for Christmas.

Marketing material to support 2022 sales include a new mini-brochure, social content and offer posters.

Kerry Gallagher, Gold Medal’s marketing director, said: “Both destinations are attracting a lot of interest in the recovery.

“Last month, room nights booked in Abu Dhabi grew over a third compared to September, with the average value of those bookings rising by nearly 50%, and in Singapore during the same period, average booking value increased by 181%.

“So we’re only too happy to help agents improve their knowledge of them, capitalise on that demand – and be in with a chance to win some very special prizes.”
