Hays Travel has rewarded the top agent sellers of its Hays Travel Money Card on the first anniversary of the card’s launch.
The company introduced its money card in association with MasterCard in July 2021 after months in product development. The prepaid money card can be taken on holiday and topped up as and when needed.
In total 46 Hays Travel staff attended the BRIT Awards courtesy of MasterCard following the tie-up while Hays Travel branches which made the most sales of the card over the last 12 months have been awarded £100 gift vouchers by the company.
The group’s Broughton branch was the top selling branch, selling almost 600 of the cards in the first year.
In addition, customers who purchased the card or topped up an existing card in the first three months of this year were also entered into a prize draw to win one of ten £1,000 Hays Travel gift vouchers. Winners are now being contacted by their local branch.
Head of foreign exchange sales Beccy Rayner said: “We’re so pleased with how the Hays Travel Money Card has been received so far. Staff and customers have really embraced it and we achieved our first year sales target three months ahead of schedule.”
The Hays Travel Money Card is free to use in millions of locations worldwide where Mastercard Prepaid is accepted, including restaurants, bars, and shops.
