Holidaysplease has treated its homeworkers to a five-night all-inclusive trip to Mauritius.
The trip was held to reward agents after a company-wide sales target for the 2022-2023 financial year was surpassed.
A mix of 105 franchisees and colleagues, including a group from Travel Counsellors, which acquired Holidaysplease in March this year, stayed at Beachcombers’ Shandrani hotel.
Agents were treated to dinners, excursions and hotel visits to help better sell accommodation to their clients.
Cat Reeves, brand and business growth executive at Holidaysplease, said: ”We are so delighted that we got to experience the Beachcomber treatment as one big team.
“We feel so lucky to have been rewarded in this way and it was also the perfect opportunity to get to know some of our new colleagues who joined us on the trip from the Travel Counsellor community.”
Matt Harding, general manager, Travel Counsellors, said it was an ideal opportunity for agents from each group to get to know each other as well as learn more about the destination.
He said: “It was a great experience for all and the ideal occasion for Travel Counsellors to be there too and get to know our new colleagues even better as one big community.
“Whilst this was primarily an opportunity to reward the Holidaysplease team for their recent efforts, the trip also provided some invaluable training, enabling our entrepreneurs to immerse themselves in the experience and come away inspired by what luxury beach holidays they could offer to their customers as they continue to grow their businesses.”
The trip was sponsored and arranged by Beachcomber, Air Mauritius and Mautourco.
Sue Preston, sales manager, Holidaysplease, said: “Thank you to the wonderful Beachcomber team for arranging such a fabulous trip in Mauritius. Spending time with colleagues old and new was an experience I will never forget. The trip was not just educational, but has made our already strong team, even stronger, and we will all move forward from this with relationship bonds that will last forever.”
