Inside Travel Group has expanded its trade team with the recruitment of Peter Green as a business development manager, to liaise with travel agents across the UK.
He joined the specialist operator – whose brands are InsideAsia and InsideJapan – from his role as trade trainer for the Malta Tourism Authority.
Peter said on social media that he is “looking forward to getting stuck in and being back on the road”.
He joined the Malta Tourism Authority as trade trainer in February 2021 and has previously worked at Arena Travel, Thomas Cook and Flight Centre.

Green will work with specialist BDM Holly Brown and head of trade, Gabo Quiros.
Quiros said: “This is yet another important addition to the trade team at Inside Travel as we look to grow our presence amongst the trade and better service our agent partners.
“There is no shortage of demand for training and Peter will help us do that.”
Green said: “I am looking forward to working for an award-winning, B Corp company as well as getting back on the road to visit friends, old and new.
“I am so privileged to have worked for Visit Malta and have learnt so much from my time with them.
“I cannot wait to use that experience to help promote these very different destinations, help agents sell what is the best product of its kind on the market and help Inside Travel achieve its ambitious targets.”
Last week, the Inside Travel Group announced it has become a member of the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas) amid plans to double its investment in trade relations.
The group is a B Corp-certified tour operator specialising in cultural adventure travel with its InsideJapan and InsideAsia brands.
Quiros said the group had joined Atas as it offers an opportunity to network with agents and more money is being spent this year on fam trips, the team dedicated to agents, resources and training.
Earlier this year, InsideJapan has appointed Kate Samuel as its new UK-based senior Japan tailor-made product manager, while InsideAsia selected Sue Livsey to be the head of the brand.
