Jet2holidays hosts trio of fam trips during April

The Jet2holidays trade team is hosting three fam trips for independent travel agents during April, visiting Majorca, Tenerife and Benidorm.

Thirty agents will be taken on the April educationals, following the operator’s first fam trip in two years last month, which was with Hays Travel North West.

Ten independent travel agents flew to Majorca on Tuesday (April 5) for a three-night trip co-hosted with Iberostar (pictured).

Representing Barton Knott, Total Travel, Idle Travel, KT’z Travel, Holidays By Design, Pennine Travel, Now Lets Travel, The Holiday and Flight Centre, Thorne Travel and Ramsay World Travel, the group will spend three nights in Majorca seeing various Iberostar properties and visiting Palma.

On April 19, agents from Heritage Collection, Henderson Travel, Marple Travel, KB Holidays, Althams Travel, Market Place Travel, Murray Travel, Travel Buddy and Oasis Travel will head to Tenerife, after winning Jet2holidays’ luxury window competition.

They will stay at the five-star Iberostar Selection Anthelia, which is part of Jet2holidays’ Indulgent Escapes collection.

The third fam trip will run from April 25, with 10 agents from Polka Dot Travel staying for two nights at the Sandos Benidorm Suites.

Alan Cross, head of trade at Jet2holidays, said: “It is fantastic to bring independent travel agents back together to remind them of all the ingredients that make up the award-winning Jet2holidays experience.

“With such strong demand for our package holidays this is the perfect time for independent travel agents to refamiliarise themselves with both our product and our destinations, as we know how much this knowledge directly impacts sales.

“We have lived in a virtual world for the best part of two years, so we are very excited to be spending valuable time with our independent travel agency partners in destination once again.”
