Limitless Travel boosts offering with new six levels of care

Disabled-friendly travel specialist Limitless Travel has unveiled a new, upgraded care offering for passengers so it can offer more tailored services.

The six levels of care are designed to ensure every passenger gets the right level of support they require.

The ‘Group Support & Holiday Assistance’ level is included as standard with all Limitless Travel holidays and suits those who do not require physical support, but may need a helping hand.

The ‘Morning, Evening & Occasional Daytime Care’ package includes assistance with personal care and suits those who currently receive intermittent care support at home, or those who would like to receive personal care assistance throughout the day.

The package can also include hoisting, which features the assistance of two qualified carers for manual handling support and hoisting for 45-60 minutes per morning and 30-45 minutes per evening.

The ‘One-to-One’ care package is the most comprehensive level of care and means a carer supports the client throughout the day on holiday.

It can also feature hoisting with two qualified carers for manual handling support and hoisting for 45-60 minutes per morning and 30-45 minutes per evening.

The ‘Companionship’ package is suitable for those who receive assistance at home or in the community with emotional support, or assistance with everyday activities.

This package is suitable for those who do not require personal care assistance, but who would benefit from the support of a qualified carer on a one-to-one basis throughout their holiday.

Established in 2015 by chief executive Angus Drummond, Limitless Travel has reported its repeat bookings for overseas trips have soared this year from existing customers including a new Toast Of Italy trip which sold out in record time.

Drummond said: “For the disabled community, the prospect of booking an overseas trip can seem overwhelming and sometimes impossible.

“We’ve proved time and again that by providing a higher level of service with expert care and appropriate equipment, the world of travel is accessible to everyone.

“Pre-pandemic, we offered five different short UK coach breaks, and in 2023 we expanded our product range to include long-haul and cruise holidays.

“Often we see new customers test out the waters by going on one of our UK coach holidays and once they’ve found their confidence, they come back to us and opt for something further afield.”
