MSC Cruises to show Euros games on ships this summer

MSC Cruises will show UEFA Euro 2024 matches on board some of its ships this summer.

Games will be broadcast live on all of the fleet operating in the Mediterranean and northern Europe between June 14 and July 14.

The tournament, which occurs once every four years, will feature 24 European nations.

MSC Cruises will show the games in selected bars and lounges on board, with some ships also offering pool-deck viewing.

MSC Virtuosa (pictured), which is based out of Southampton this summer, has a programme of Euros-themed activities on board, including table football, penalty shoot-out challenges, trivia competitions and a contest where passengers can design their own team shirts, with prizes up for grabs.

Antonio Paradiso, vice-president of international sales and managing director of MSC Cruises UK and Ireland, said: “We are always listening to what our guests want and we know how popular football is to our British customers.

“That’s why we will be screening the Euros on board our UK-based ship, MSC Virtuosa, as well as the rest of the MSC Cruises fleet.”
