Escorted tour operator Newmarket Holidays has put a selection of popular long-haul tours on sale for 2026, as 2024 and 2025 options are already selling out.
News of the 2026 departures came as the operator announced a 5% booking discount available until December 21 across its long and short-haul touring collection.
Newmarket said the addition of 2026 departures follows “increased demand” from customers and agents for 2026 and an “uplift” in bookings for existing 2024-25 departures.
So far, 10 tours have had 2026 dates added, including On Safari in South Africa; Borneo’s Orangutangs and Rainforest Adventure; Canadian Rockies; India’s Golden Triangle; Shimla and Amritsar’s Golden Temple; and Follow the Mekong, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Verity Rice, product, purchasing and operations director, said: “Our customers like to plan ahead and, with our 2024-25 departures already selling out, we’ve launched new 2026 dates to meet demand.
“In particular, our African safari range has been selling extremely well, so we’ve added five options for 2026, including the popular On Safari in South Africa at Mabula Lodge and On Safari in Kruger National Park.
“To give customers that extra push alongside releasing the 2026 dates, we’re currently running a limited-time offer of 5% off our long and short-haul collection.
“This launch also presents agents with a stronger offering for their customers, and alongside this campaign, it should help boost bookings.”
