“After I left Attraction World, my love and passion never faded,” Yates said. “It’s an awesome feeling to know I’m coming back where I belong, the place I call home.

“To sum it up, if I was a stick of rock and you cut me in half, I’d have Attraction World running through the middle.”

Head of trade sales Kelly Hayre said: “As the travel industry continues to bounce back, it’s the perfect time to start putting our plans and visions in motion.

“Nicky joins the retail team with a wealth of knowledge, passion and enthusiasm; she will be an incredible addition to the team.

“Our retail partners are at the heart of what we do and with so much change over the last few years, it’s now time to ramp up the engagement, rebuild our foundations and continue to grow the incredible partnerships we have already established.”

Justin Mahoney, chief operating officer, added: “We can’t tell you how delighted we are that Nicky has decided to come home.

“The passion that she has for Attraction World is unrivalled and she will be phenomenal in this newly-created role which is all about retail engagement.

“We listened to the feedback from our amazing agent partners who wanted us to be more visible and to shout louder about what we do and how we do it.

“Kelly and I feel that no one shouts louder or is more visible than Nicky so we couldn’t be happier to welcome our very own lioness back into the family.”
