Specialist operator Red Savannah celebrated its 11th anniversary with a party on a decommissioned British Airways 747 Negus jet at Kemble Airfield.
The party was initially intended to celebrate the operator’s 1oth anniversary last year, but it was postponed because of the pandemic.
Founding members of the team were rewarded for their long service with Cartier and Breitling watches.
Red Savannah, which was founded in 2011, was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2020 and was recognised as the Best Tour Operator in the World by readers of Conde Nast Traveller last year, which George Morgan Grenville, founder and chief executive, described as the “icing on a very special cake”.
He added: “I could not be more proud of Red Savannah and everything our incredible team have achieved over the last 11 years.”
