Regent Holidays keeps Palestine and Israel in latest brochure

Specialist tour operator Regent Holidays is featuring Palestine and Israel in its 2024 brochure despite the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Currently on the operator’s website, it says on the Palestine and Israel section: “Due to FCDO advice and ongoing conflict in Palestine, we aren’t currently quoting or booking any holidays to this country.

“The safety of our clients is a priority and our thoughts go out to everyone affected. Thank you for your understanding as we closely monitor the situation.”

Announcing the release of The Regent Collection, Andrea Godfrey, head of Regent, said: “The brochure is designed to be a snapshot and insight into further product available on our website. We have also made the decision to keep Palestine and Israel in the brochure for 2024.

“No one knows how long this miserable conflict is going to go on, and we want to show our support for our partners and the wider population by continuing to showcase what these beautiful destinations have to offer when it is safe to travel there.”

Elsewhere, the brochure features new trips in more than 12 of its most popular destinations including Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Romania, Estonia, Greenland, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Azores.

The brochure also includes Regent’s small group tours portfolio for the first time, in addition to its tailor made, fly-drive, cruise, rail, short break and family holidays.

New eight-day tours include the Finnish Wildlife and Wilderness Adventure and Romania Photography Group Tour.

A new one-off 16-day Kazakhstan and the World Nomad Games 2024 small group tour takes place next September.

Other new trips include the Gems of South Iceland Group Tour; the Tallinn and Tartu and Bodø and Bergen twin centres – in honour of two of the 2024 European Capitals of Culture – a cruise through the Norwegian fjords with Havila Voyages; Jordan on the Road fly-drive, Saudi Arabia Trailblazers; and Dalarna, Sweden in Miniature.

Godfrey added: “The 2024 Regent Collection is our most comprehensive to date, and we have a host of new product and trips that we are really excited about.

“In addition to the main brochure, we will continue to produce our hugely popular mini-mailers honing in on specific areas of our portfolio, so agents can be confident they will be supported by a full suite of assets.”
