Royal Caribbean International has shared details of adults-only Hideaway Beach, set to open in January 2024.
The “beachfront paradise” at the line’s private island destination Perfect Day at CocoCay will debut alongside new ship Icon of the Seas and is available for a fee for passengers aged 18 and over.
Passengers can swim in the Hideaway Pool, which has a swim-up bar, or relax on sunbeds on the beach.

The resort has two private areas available for an extra cost: Hideaway Cabanas and The Hideout. Guests in both spots can push a button for service, use floating beach mats and have access to a mini fridge for drinks, while passengers in The Hideout have an additional private heated infinity plunge pool.
All passengers will have a choice from seven drinking and dining options. On the Rocks offers frozen cocktails and games, Slice of Paradise serves up pizza, guests can grab a drink at the Beach Bars, have lunch in the shade at Snack Shack, or drink in the water at the swim-up Hideaway Bar.
President and chief executive Michael Bayley said: “Hideaway Beach is a completely new vibe and experience that vacationers are looking for on Perfect Day at CocoCay.
“Everything from its hidden-like location to the exclusive beach and pools to the private cabanas is designed for adults who want a day just for them.
“There are experiences for everyone on a Royal Caribbean vacation and that’s at the heart of our private island and its popularity.
“Whether it’s thrill or chill, family time or time to celebrate, families and friends can create their perfect vacation day without compromise and Hideaway Beach adds to what continues to be an unmatched combination of ways to do just that.”
