Scenic Group UK & Ireland managing director Richard Twynam has left the company after six months in the role.
Twynam, who joined the company in October last year, announced he had stepped down in a post on LinkedIn.
Scenic Group confirmed he had “resigned with immediate effect” on Wednesday and a replacement would be recruited.
Twynam wrote: “For those not aware I chose to leave my previous role and am enjoying a little time in the garden.
“I will of course miss the team a lot; great people that were very kind and welcoming to me and invested in my approach.”
Scenic Group said: “We can confirm that Richard Twynam resigned on Wednesday 26 April with immediate effect. While we recruit a replacement the wider UK leadership team will ensure all operations continue in a business-as-usual way.
“We thank Richard for his time with the business and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Prior to his role at Scenic Group, Twynam held freelance and part-time roles in travel, before which he was UK, Ireland and EMEA managing director for Azamara.
