Scott Dunn’s chief executive Sonia Davies is to leave the company later this year.
Davies joined the luxury operator as chief operating officer in January 2018 and was promoted to chief executive 11 months later, replacing Simon Russell.
Confirming her departure in a statement, Scott Dunn said: “We can confirm that Sonia Davies will be stepping down from her position as chief executive officer at Scott Dunn later this year.

“The entire team at Scott Dunn and Flight Centre Travel Group extend their enormous gratitude to Sonia for her leadership and contribution to the business over the past six-and-a-half years.
“The search for a replacement is underway, but in the interim, it is very much business as usual at Scott Dunn, with a busy summer for travelling guests in full swing.”
During her tenure, Davies oversaw Flight Centre Travel Group’s acquisition of Scott Dunn, a deal that was completed in February 2023.
She has also spearheaded the operator’s move towards working with agents in all three of its source markets, most recently in the UK securing partnership deals with Swords Travel and Savvi Travel.
Speaking at Aspire’s Leaders of Luxury conference in June, Davies said trade sales were converting “at a really good rate”.
