Shearings has increased its UK festive season collection to now feature 144 holidays this winter.
The escorted coach tours specialist has four-day breaks priced from £225 per person.
A spokeswoman explained that the number of tours on sale has grown over the last month and that they offer “something agents can get on and sell now with confidence and without worrying about changes”.
Five-day Turkey & Tinsel pre-Christmas holidays begin on November 22; and Christmas with all the trimmings breaks from December 23 -27 are “selling fast”, the operator said.
It is also offering New Year breaks with a gala dinner and drinks reception as well as a selection of four-day ‘Twixmas’ breaks between Christmas and New Year.
Seaside destinations including St. Ives, Torquay, Eastbourne, Blackpool, Whitby, Scarborough, Llandudno, Isle of Wight and Great Yarmouth are included, as well as a programme of holidays in the Lake District, Yorkshire and Scotland.
Seasonal touches on these holidays include festive drinks, such as mulled wine or bucks fizz, mince pies, a traditional turkey Christmas dinner, cream teas and a five-course dinner and drinks reception on New Year’s Eve. Guests in-situ on December 25 receive a gift.
All holidays include coach transport from a local joining point, two- or three-star hotel accommodation with English breakfast, all evening meals and excursions.
Self-drive holidays are also available “with all the Christmas or New Year touches”. All hotels featured in the self-drive collection are pet friendly.
A Turkey & Tinsel break in Torquay, staying at the Torbay Hotel on the seafront, with excursions to Exeter and Teignmouth, and an optional excursion to Plymouth, costs from £299 per person.
Christmas in Llandudno, staying at either the seafront County Hotel or Marine Hotel, includes a Christmas Eve excursion to Snowdonia and Betws-y-Coed; Christmas Day around Llandudno with a traditional turkey dinner and all the trimmings and a Boxing Day excursion to Anglesey. Prices start from £489 per person.
