Shearings has introduced 14 self-drive short breaks to its UK collection, with hotels in popular cities and coastal regions.
The new three- and four-day breaks feature urban destinations such as London, Bristol, Cardiff, Newcastle and Birmingham plus resorts such as Great Yarmouth, Torquay and Barnstaple.
All self-drive hotel breaks include accommodation with breakfast and evening meals and have full financial protection through Shearings’ 100% secure Trust Account.
Ashley Dellow, Leger Shearings Group’s head of retail sales, said the self-drive holidays are “sure to be popular” because demand for staycations remains high.
“Agents can reassure their clients that by booking a Shearings’ hotel break they have full financial protection, which they might not have if doing a DIY booking,” he added.
“The breaks are perfect for those wanting extra independence to do their own thing and although they are billed as self-drive, they could be called ‘own travel arrangements’, especially as many of the city hotels are convenient for stations.”
A four-night break at the four-star Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa (pictured) costs from £259.
Four nights at the three-star Comfort Hotel Great Yarmouth are priced from £229.
