Coach tour specialist Shearings has unveiled a new collection of pre-Christmas UK holidays called ‘Lights, Events & Houses’.
The escorted tours feature visits to attractions, immersive light experiences and festive events, with bookings open now for departures in November and December 2024.
Tour experiences include a winter safari and light trail at Longleat’s Festival of Light; a visit to Chatsworth House decorated for a traditional Christmas (pictured); Blenheim Palace and its seasonal illuminated light trail; and the Eden Project, where the biomes will be lit up while musicians perform orchestral festive music.
There are seven holidays in the collection, with five of them being new for Shearings.
As well as fully escorted coach travel, half-board accommodation and excursions, each break includes seasonal extras such as mulled wine and a festive treat on arrival, Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and a festive cream tea.
Prices start from £349 for a five-day break, with a single room supplement from £49.
