Silversea to call at 70 destinations on 2026 world cruise

Silversea Cruises has designed the most “diverse and immersive” voyage in its history on its 2026 world cruise.

The 140-day sailing, called The Curious and the Sea, will depart Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2026, and call at 70 destinations in 37 countries – the most on any Silversea world cruise.

Silver Dawn will sail through Central America before transiting the Panama Canal to South America and calling at Easter Island, French Polynesia and the South Pacific. The ship will then sail to New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka and India before passing through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean.

The sailing will conclude in Lisbon on May 27, 2026.

The itinerary includes 26 calls which are either have not been visited by the line since 2020 or are completely new, as well as nine overnight stays.

Passengers can opt to take overland tours in Uzbekistan, Luxor and the Balkans.

Members of the line’s Venetian Society can book from June 14 while the itinerary goes on general sale on June 22.

President and chief executive of Silversea Cruises Barbara Muckermann said: “Calling in more destinations than any voyage in Silversea’s history, our world cruise 2026 will connect the most enriching experiences across 70 destinations and six continents.

“Appealing to the curious traveller within, we are inviting our guests to experience our planet’s beauty with new eyes, while celebrating the rich history of navigation.

“The Curious and the Sea demonstrates our commitment to unlocking the most immersive travel experiences for our guests, broadening the largest collection of extended voyages in ultra-luxury cruising.

“We can’t wait to welcome our extended family aboard Silver Dawn for this special sailing.”
