TruTravels is offering savings of up to 40% on its Latin America and Maldives trips following the government’s reduction of red list destinations.
The youth travel and social adventure specialist has up to 30% off trips to Costa Rica and Mexico this November and December and up to 40% off Maldives departures from January onwards when booked before October 31, 2021.
The operator, which offers small group tours and is aimed at backpackers and young adults, expanded into Latin America in 2019 on the back of its success in Asia and launched its Maldives trips this year.
Co-founder Mark Pope said Latin America was already proving popular, with young travellers keen to travel to lesser travelled parts of the world post-pandemic, while the Maldives aims to meet demand for “unique experiences” in luxurious destinations.
He added that travelling on an all-inclusive tour with accommodation, transport and activities included was also appealing to young travellers in the current market.
He said: “As travel trends have changed, the security and ease of a group tour is in hot demand.”
Discounted trips include a 10-day Costa Rica Adventure, which includes ziplining through the jungle, visits to hot springs and an overnight stay at a village homestay. The cost has been reduced by up to 30% from £1,050 to £745.
Other trips with savings include an eight-day Maldives Sailing Adventure, reduced to £1,197, eight-day Maldives Island Hopper, reduced to £967.50, and 11-day Mexico Yucatan Experience now £976.50.
