TV presenter and wildlife expert Kate Humble has become an ambassador for adventure tour operator Wild Frontiers.
Humble will showcase “the wonders of our planet” with a monthly column on Wild Frontiers’ website, as well as participating in live events, webinars, podcasts and more.
Wild Frontiers currently works with a number of agents but is looking to develop further relationships with the trade, particularly with the growth in experiential and adventure travel which the UK has seen in recent years.
The founder of Wild Frontiers, Jonny Bealby, said: “Having known Kate for many years, I’m delighted she has joined Wild Frontiers. A keen proponent of sustainable travel and lover of adventure, Kate’s outlook on life fits perfectly with the ethos of Wild Frontiers.
“Together, we hope to inspire others to travel and create deeper connections, all while preserving the rich diversity of locations.”

Humble added: “Wild Frontiers were doing responsible travel long before it became a ‘thing’. As a lover of travelling to adventurous places, I’m honoured to work alongside such a passionate, caring organisation.
“Over the company months, I’m looking forward to sharing ways we can all make the most of the uniquely wonderful planet we live on.”
Clare Tobin, who joined Wild Frontiers as managing director in October, commented: “Kate is a leading female industry voice, who I have no doubt will inspire our guests to travel more this year. She is a perfect fit for Wild Frontiers, and we are looking forward to an exciting partnership in 2024.”
Humble travelled to the Democratic Republic of Congo with Wild Frontiers in 2018 to see the gorillas, and has also taken trips to India and Afghanistan with the company.
Wild Frontiers recently introduced a collection called Adventures with Purpose, with new tailor-made tours to Sri Lanka, Peru and Georgia.
It is also expanding the reach of the Wild Frontiers Foundation, which celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2024.
The foundation has supported women’s empowerment projects around the world, including sponsoring a girls’ football team in Ethiopia and supporting the Pink City Rickshaw Company in India.
