Unforgettable Travel Group gives staff £1k personal travel allowance

Unforgettable Travel Group has introduced a new global benefits scheme that offers its “widest ever” array of employee perks, including an annual £1,000 personal travel allowance for all staff.

Alongside offerings such as annual leave on birthdays, two paid days off per year for volunteering on a local community project and private health assessments, the new scheme includes additional extensive benefits.

A Mental Wellness Spa Day sees the company contribute £100 to a spa treatment of choice with a paid day’s leave annually.

Staff who successfully participate in the luxury operator’s eight-week ‘Healthy Office Challenge’ will receive a further two days off and £100 reward.

The annual Personal Enrichment Credit gives every team member £1,000 to use towards personal travel for themselves and their families.

In addition, employees who pass five years of service will be offered a £2,000 cash bonus or a 30-day paid sabbatical.

Graham Carter, commercial director at the Unforgettable Travel Group, said: “In the last two years we’ve increased the Unforgettable family to 32 staff.

“We’ve always strived to be the leading travel employer, and since the rise in remote working, felt the need to update our benefits scheme to ensure we offer our staff the very best.

“We aim to provide the ultimate in service to our guests and in order to do that we need to have happy, rewarded and engaged employees – they are the heart of our success.

“The new, more extensive scheme has a keen emphasis on personal enrichment and allowing our teams to travel, knowing it’s everyone’s true passion.

“We now believe we offer one of the best packages in the business – which benefits our staff around the world.”

The Unforgettable Travel Group has offices in London, New York, Split and Athens, and operates the Unforgettable Travel, Unforgettable Croatia and Unforgettable Greece brands.
