Vertical Systems integrates with Gold Medal booking API

Vertical Systems has integrated with long-haul B2B tour operator Gold Medal to offer a time-saving booking import process for holiday sales.

The technology specialist’s Tarsc back-office software helps agencies with travel administration, accounting, payroll, fees and licences, with a suite of integrated products that includes vHub, vCrm, vSearch and vPay.

Darren Manning, Vertical Systems sales director, said: “We know that agents need to focus their time on speaking to customers and selling holidays and, although uploading bookings is part of their day-to-day requirements, it should be a simple process for them.

“We are thrilled that the integration with Gold Medal’s booking retrieve API will enhance efficiency, reduce errors and have a positive impact on many more agents.”

Vertical Systems appoints new managing director

Karen Fletcher, trade partnership director at Gold Medal, added: “We are delighted to be working with Vertical Systems to integrate our booking retrieve function into their back office.

“This integration enables travel agent users of their award-winning Tarsc software to automate booking loading on Gold Medal flights, hotels, car hire and package holidays.

“We consistently look for ways to simplify the post-booking journey for our agent partners and we know this investment with Vertical Systems will reduce the amount of manual administration required by agents.”

Vertical Systems will introduce the new function to its Vertical Travel Group homeworkers, Holiday Elite and Your Holiday Booking soon.

It previously launched an integration with cruise specialist Dreamlake, along with offering booking retrievals for easyJet, Jet2 and Olympic Holidays.
