CroisiEurope signals UK growth with new call centre

CroisiEurope will start to sell flight-inclusive packages in the UK for the first time with the opening of a new call centre on March 1.

The investment by the French river and ocean cruise operator will enable it to target new audiences and effectively grow the business in the UK.

The call centre is being managed by Yorkshire-based small ship operator Blue Water Holidays.

The CroisiEurope UK sales team is being expanded as it looks to bring in a business development manager for the Midlands, the north of England and Scotland.

The successful candidate will report to UK sales director John Fair and be tasked with building and managing relationships with new and existing trade partners.

The company, which operates a fleet of more than 50 ships, is also targeting growth in its coach and group travel business, headed in the UK by Gabrielle Alam.

Fair said: “With strong sales and increased interest in our river, ocean, coastal and hotel barge products, now is the perfect time to invest in the UK and further reinforce our commitment to this very important market.

“We’re really excited to be working with Blue Water Holidays who will be managing our call centre. We’ve enjoyed a successful relationship with them for many years and I’m confident that they can help us with our expansion plans in the UK.”
