Crystal Ski expands ‘Slope Starters’ for beginners

Crystal Ski Holidays is expanding an offering for beginner skiers and boarders after the first ‘Slope Starters’ week in March.

A package to Arinsal in Andorra has been made available next winter in addition to Flaine in France.

The Andorra week for beginners will run on January 21-28, 2024, with Flaine taking place on March 9-16.

Prices start at £845 per person including return flights, half-board accommodation, transfers, ski lessons, equipment hire and a lift pass.

The week starts with welcome drinks, as well as a bowling night, apres-ski, a spa session and an awards evening on the last night.

Managing directorChris Logan said: “We are always looking for different ways to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible.

“Holidays in the mountains offer memorable and happy moments for our customers, and we want as many people as possible to be able to experience them.

“We launched our first ever Slope Starters week for winter 2022-23 in Flaine, France with the aim to remove barriers to skiing and snowboarding for people who have never tried it before, while also showing them how much fun you can have on – and off – the slopes.

“We’re excited to now be offering a second resort for customers, to give them more choice.”

He added: “What’s great about Slope Starters is everything is taken care of in one complete package and gives travellers the chance to make new, like-minded friends along the way. We hope that once they’ve had their first taste, they’ll keep heading back to the snow time and time again to make more unforgettable memories.”
