Adam O’Keefe has been named as global marketing manager at destination management company Discova.
He has ten years’ experience in marketing, product and contracting work with three of the biggest DMCs in Asia.
O’Keefe starts in the new role today (Monday) and will be based in Thailand.
Originally from Staffordshire, he relocated to Bangkok in 2010 and later moved to Hanoi in 2018 before returning to Thailand this year.
O’Keefe said: “Having been an envious ‘competitor’ of one of the company’s former incarnations (Buffalo Tours) for some time, I’m elated to now be joining the Discova team. It’s my ambition to help this relatively new but experienced brand rebound as travel restarts, continuing the good work already underway.
“The aim is to firmly establish Discova as a key player in the industry while doing everything possible to raise brand awareness in our target markets.”
Global sales and marketing director Andrew Turner said: “We are thrilled to have Adam and his wealth of experience joining our team during a period of such transformation for the industry.
“Adam will be a great asset to the Discova business as we look to grow and start seeing international borders open.”
