Hays Travel has appointed Andrew Pickering in the new role of partner marketing manager.
Most recently, Pickering worked with the relaunched Thomas Cook brand, revived as an online travel retailer, as head of partnerships.
Prior to that he worked for tour operator Vacations to America as product and partnerships manager after spending nearly 20 years at Thomas Cook in a variety of roles, including media and partnerships manager, until the company’s collapse in September 2019.
In the new role, Pickering will be responsible for growing partnerships with tourist boards for long-haul and short-haul destinations. As well as developing tourist board relationships, he will focus on delivering marketing campaigns from tourist boards.
