Spanish group Riu Hotels & Resorts is to open its first UK city centre property in London on Friday (July 28).
The four-star Riu Plaza London Victoria has 435 rooms and suites.
The hotel is located opposite Victoria Station in a building constructed in the 1960s and completely renovated in the 1990s.
Facilities include a fitness room, lobby bar and a restaurant serving buffet breakfast included in the room rate and à la carte dinner.
The company sees the location as providing easy access to the Gatwick Express and other London transport links.
The London hotel joins nine other Plaza properties in cities such as Dublin, New York, San Francisco, Miami, Panama, Guadalajara in Mexico and Berlin.
