Saga Cruises unveils ex-UK sailings for 2023

Saga Cruises has released several new ex-UK cruises – ranging from seven to 16 nights in length – for early next year.

A 13-night Canary Island Explorer sailing departing from Portsmouth on January 12 kicks off the mini-programme.

Spirit of Adventure (pictured) heads to Lisbon, Portugal, before heading to Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Prices for the voyage start from £2,907.

The 14-night Celestial Canary Islands cruise, departing from Portsmouth on January 25, features late night departures from Tenerife and La Gomera. Prices start from £3,138.

Saga said the seven-night Continental Flavours sailing, starting on February 8, is the “perfect introduction to cruising life”.

The lead-in price for the cruise, which includes stop-offs at Zeebrugge, Belgium, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and Le Havre, France, is £1,528.

Another new itinerary – Arctic Norway and the Northern Lights – starts in Portsmouth on February 28 and heads to Bergen in Norway.

Spirit of Adventure also calls into Tromsø, Alta and Honningsvåg, all Norway, during the 15-night cruise, which is prices from £3,562.

The final cruise in the mini-programme departs from Portsmouth on March 15. Prices for the 16-night Cities of Spain and the Western Med sailing heads to Gibraltar, Palma and Barcelona, both in Spain, start from £3,434.

All Saga’s ocean cruises are all-inclusive with free door-to-door chauffeur service, up to 250 miles each way.
