Scenic Group launches incentives around TV doc

Scenic Group has launched two incentives for agents selling its river cruise offerings, coinciding with one of its ships featuring in a documentary.

Luxury river ship Scenic Gem will star in The Antique Brothers, a new eight-episode series on Quest premiering tonight (September 4).

Agents can take part in a weekly social media competition on Scenic & Emerald Cruises’ Totally Trade Facebook page, where one UK agent who correctly answers a question based on that week’s episode will win a Scenic backpack.

In addition, Scenic is running a cruise giveaway in September where all agents who make a Scenic France river cruise booking between September 1 and 30 will be entered into a prize draw to win an eight-day Seine Cruise in 2025 (not including flights).

A webinar providing an overview of Scenic’s river cruise offering, focussing on the Seine and Northern France, and Scenic Gem, will also be made available on the Scenic Group Trade Portal.

Nick Hughes, sales, strategy & partnership director at Scenic, said: “Scenic’s river cruises allow guests to visit more off-the-beaten-track ports and towns; we consistently look at adding new and exciting itineraries, destinations and excursions to our collection to meet the interests of our culturally curious and discerning guests.

“This is why Scenic Gem was the perfect ship to transport The Antiques Brothers along the Seine as they searched for hidden gems in lesser-known locations.”

He added: “In addition to webinars and training, a great way for agents to become familiar with our offerings is first-hand experience, so we’re thrilled to be able to offer incentives such as this, giving one lucky agent the chance to experience the Seine onboard Scenic Gem for themselves.”

The Antique Brothers will be airing on Quest on Freeview and Sky at 9pm on Wednesdays from September 4, 2024.
