A long-term former Saga Travel director is to lead marketing for the JG Travel Group.
James Gambling spent 32 years at the travel arm of the over-50s firm before moving to Travelopia and Fleetway Travel.
He reunites with ex-Saga Holidays boss Chris Simmonds at the coach holiday group.
Gambling joins as marketing director on May 22, moving from publisher Real Response Media where he was chief marketing officer.
He will have day-to-day responsibility for the management of the marketing, digital and studio departments, plus the trade sales team and partnerships team.
His appointment follows JG Travel commercial director Matthew Herbert joining coach tour rival Leger Shearings as group product manager.

JG Travel is the parent company of Just Go! Holidays, National Holidays, Omega Breaks and Albion Journeys.
